Every repetition of every set tracked with clinical grade accuracy and compared to the best-in-class recovery protocols that are provided to the patient. Compliance is automatic and in real time via the physician dashboard.

TEMPO

Repetition speed is a key indicator of strength and muscle recovery. With the ability to monitor rep duration and any pause during sets it’s possible to see overall movement recovery progression. In some literature this is referred to velocity spectrum rehabilitation monitoring.

MOBILITY

Going beyond just repetition tracking of standard recovery movements, FocusMotion can monitor stretching exercises and mobility tasks such as the timed up and go test.

FocusMotion’s smart recovery system is the only clinically validated range of motion system in the market today, monitoring range of motion progression in every single rep of every single set of movements the patient performs.

PAIN

Widely validated pain measures, such as VAS, are used as part of the patient experience correlating valuable pain reporting with real-time movement data for richer information for evaluation.

KOOS

The Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome Score measures joint-specific pain and physical function that focuses on three dimensions of the patient experience: joint pain, stiffness and function in daily living.

OPIOID USE

During recovery, patients are asked to report their opioid usage regularly providing continuous data on recovery and need for pain medication. Surgeons and their care teams can use this to assess patient need.

STEP TRACKING

Using any API available either via phone or wearable device steps are reported daily both to the surgeon and the patient to monitor overall daily mobility, demonstrating progression as patients return to normal functioning.
